The Regional Community Forestry
Training Center for Asia and the Pacific (RECOFTC) offers a range of
international training courses and study tours on community based natural
resource management topics. The courses and study tours build upon the
experience of participants' and then extends their skills and knowledge by
exploring the issues at hand through case study exploration and analysis,
field visits to sites highlighting on-ground realities, presentations by
invited specialists, and the development of personalized 'action plans'.
This powerful mix of information will be presented within a highly
interactive, participatory learning environment of discussion, synthesis
and reflection. RECOFTC has a new approach to training for the upcoming
year. In 2007, training and study tours will be delivered on demand, and
customized for clients’ needs, rather than the former open subscription
system. Read more about this here
